To get a weather forecast
for the location of your interest, click the mouse on the corresponding point
on the map in the center of the page. The weather forecast table for the selected
location will be displayed in the upper frame.
The forecast table heading shows the name of the region and coordinates
(longitude / latitude) of the selected location.
The table contains actual weather conditions for previous day and weather forecast
for next 4 days.
The "Temperature" line contains low night (1st value) and high
daytime (2nd value) temperatures in degrees Celsius
(°F = °C x 1.8 + 32).
The "Pressure" line shows atmospheric pressure in millimeters Hg
(1 mm.Hg = 1.333 mBar).
"Cloudiness" and "Precipitation" forecasts are displayed in
symbolic pictures according to legend for cloudiness
and precipitation respectively.
Note:
Forecast is calculated for the exact selected location.
For instance, if the heading reads:
Weather forecast for: Yakutia 63°N 130°E,
the table data show forecast for this specific location,
not average values for Yakutia.
If you know the exact coordinates (longitude / latitude) of the place of your interest,
you may first select the required region, and then find the exact location by several tries.
Or, if your browser supports Java applets, you can find your exact location on the
"Regions" map (see below), which displays the coordinates of the point under the
cursor.
The lower-center frame contains one of the following maps, depending on mode selected:
Regions |
Map of Russian regions. If your browser supports Java applets, as you move
the cursor over the map, you will see region name and geographic coordinates
of the point in current cursor position (in a window on the map).
|

different temperature values. The color scale is to the right from the map.

different temperature change values. The color scale is to the right from the map.
|
